Responsibilities

  • Manage Escalated Tickets From Service Desk & Ensure OLA & SLA targets are not breached
  • Be the first point of contact whenever there is an issue that requires escalation by Service Desk.
  • Analyze & troubleshoot the issue & gather more details – Majority of issue description don’t contain necessary & relevant information required to understand or reproduce the issue. App Support is responsible to deep dive into the issue, obtain relevant information from the client (person who registered the issue), determine whether it is an actual issue (or valid service request) & provide full picture description of the problem / request
  • Fulfill generic client requests – These can be:
    • Check communication logs to obtain requested data
    • Validate / Check service behavior from API calls or UI
    • Perform requested operation in the application (Operation which is not accessible to the client. For example: Add new game, Block one of the providers…)

 

Requirements

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Complex problem solving
  • Ability to explain service behavior & reasoning behold such behavior to the clients with limited technical & domain knowledge
  • Good to have basic knowledge of SQL
  • Good to have basic knowledge of Web Services & API design
  • Basic knowledge of how to read application / communication logs (specifically with greyLog)
  • Basic knowledge of how to use browser Dev Tools (Chrome, Safari Dev Tools)
  • Flexibility with working hours (App Support will initially work in 2 shifts. Later on they must be on support 24/7)

 

Bonus points for

  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of Application Monitoring Systems and hands on experience working with it (prometheus, Graphana, New Relic…)
